Valerie was a recurring character on the Discovery Kids educational program Hip Hop Harry. She played Mail Carrier Carla, who in addition to delivering the mail daily to Hip Hop Central, shared her wisdom with Harry and the Kids. The Show received a 2007 Daytime Emmy Nomination for Outstanding Pre-School Children's Series and was awarded the 2007 Parent’s Choice Award.
